The Messy Data Test Pack

Your AI workflow works on a clean spreadsheet. What happens when the spreadsheet gets ugly? Find out before you trust it with real work.

The Messy Data Test Pack gives you six deliberately imperfect CSV files — customer lists, orders, a content calendar, campaign results, expenses, and inventory — to put your AI cleaning prompts and reporting workflows through their paces. Each file is planted with duplicates, tangled date and money formats, missing values, impossible values, and conflicting records that the data itself cannot settle.

Run your workflow, compare its results with the included answer key, and use the pass/fail scorecard to see what needs fixing — especially whether your AI flags ambiguity or quietly invents an answer.

You get: six synthetic CSV datasets (no real customer information anywhere), an issue-by-issue answer key showing every planted problem, the expected fix, and the ambiguities an agent should flag rather than guess, a reusable copy-paste test prompt, a 7-box pass/fail scorecard, a README, and a 4-page PDF guide — all in one ZIP. No coding required. Just a workflow you want to trust, and a few spreadsheets designed to challenge it.
